VIRTUAL COLLEGE PLANNING SESSIONS

Bob will be conducting a number of free college planning sessions over the coming weeks to assist students and families on the college search and application process. Rising freshman, sophomore, junior and senior students and their parents would benefit from most sessions. Participation for each information session will be limited. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience.

All college planning sessions will be held via Zoom. To register, please email Bob at [email protected] and include your first name, grade level/s of the student/s and the name of session in which you wish to participate.

In College Planning 101 Bob will cover a variety of topics regarding high school preparation and the college search to include high school course work, SAT/ACT, building a resume, the application review, choosing a college and more.

College Planning in the Era of Covid-19

Bob is hosting college representatives from Gonzaga, California Polytechnic and Drexel Universities to provide their insights into various application types and application reviews as colleges attempt to navigate test optional applications, 'Pass/Fail'  and 'A/Incomplete' grading systems, gap year options and preparing for college tours

In this session, Bob will discuss the college essay and supplemental essay prompts that students should prepare for when completing most college applications including the Coalition Application - used by nearly 150 colleges and universities - and the Common Application - used by more than 900 colleges and universities across the US and internationally.

College Trends in the Era of Covid-19 -- Hosted by the Issaquah High School PTSA

In this session Bob will be partnering with Chapman University, San Diego State University and the University of Florida to provide their Insights into various application types and application reviews as colleges attempt to navigate test optional applications, 'Pass/Fail' and 'A/Incomplete' grading systems, gap year options and preparing for college tours.

VERTO Education -- (Private) For Seattle Area College Counselors

In this session, representatives of VERTO education will provide IEC's with an update and tutorial regarding student opportunities to begin their college experience as freshmen in VERTO education programs allowing for international study and program opportunities overseas before transferring to one of nearly fifty member institutions.
